The article deals with the economic requirements of development of the health care system of the Czech Republic in the context of
health care as a complex. There are described interconnections between the economic development of the state economy and possibilities
of financing the health care. The health care system in the whole extend participates to prevention or restoration of human health
and therefor creates an important part of the human wealth fare. In the Czech republic the amount of finances that is distributed to
sustain and further develop health care is comparable with the developed European countries, during the last decade the percentage
of total financial means transferred into health care relatively decreases. The human resources in the Czech republic belong to the key
factors of economic growth, the most valuable types of wealth fare of the state.
