Co brání lékařům používat terapeutické materiály?

Způsob hojení ran fyziologickým způsobem se u nás snaží prosadit více než 10 let. Nové názory a trendy se poprvé objevily v devadesátých letech s příchodem zahraničních firem, které ve své široké nabídce mají i takzvané terapeutické obvazy. Tím, že tyto materiály byly pro nás zdravotníky tehdy opravdu něčím novým, brzy si získaly název moderní obvazy. Takový zavádějící termín je však z obecného hlediska nesprávný, neboť ve světě pod pojmem moderní přístupy, moderní materiály je rozuměno spíše bio inženýrství s použitím umělých náhrad kůže, užití růstových faktorů a dalších možností.
