Článek sumarizuje moderní praktický přístup k diagnostice a léčbě infekcí dolních dýchacích cest u dospělých. Podrobněji je studována otázka komunitních pneumonií (CAP) a exacerbace chronické obstrukční plicní nemoci (CHOPN).
