Chronické záněty horních cest dýchacích

Chronická onemocnění horních cest dýchacích postihují dočasně či trvale nemalou část populace. Etiologie těchto patologických stavů je většinou multifaktoriální, kromě individuálních predispozic se uplatňují i faktory zevního prostředí. Průběh potíží bývá protrahovaný s kolísavou intezitou příznaků. Možnosti kauzální terapie jsou často omezené, terapie bývá zdlouhavá a vyžaduje trpělivost pacienta i ošetřujícího lékaře. Článek shrnuje nejčastější nozologické jednotky s jejich typickou symptomatologií s diagnosticko-terapeutickými postupy.
