Laboratorní diagnostika dědičných metabolických poruch

Dědičné metabolické poruchy (DMP) jsou stovky onemocnění s různými symptomy, typy dědičnosti a stupněm léčitelnosti. DMP by měly být běľnou součástí diferenciální diagnostiky jakéhokoliv onemocnění v jakémkoliv věku. Mnoho pacientů vąak diagnóze DMP uniká. Kaľdá DMP by měla být vľdy potvrzena na laboratorní úrovni v rámci tzv. selektivního screeningu. Diagnostika DMP je dostupná na úrovni metabolitů, enzymů/transportních proteinů, tkáně nebo DNA.
