Akutní katary horních cest dýchacích

Katary dýchacích cest jsou velice častým a rozšířeným infekčním onemocněním, které se přednáší kapénkovou infekcí i přímo dotykem. Dýchací cesty jsou zpravidla postiženy zánětem jako celek, přičemž některé úseky jsou postiženy výrazněji. Podle nich pak mluvíme o rinitidě, faryngitidě nebo laryngitidě a podle toho také upravujeme léčbu. Nemocní vyžadují náležité protizánětlivé léčení. Proto by měli být nemocní izolováni, aby nedošlo k hromadnému výskytu těchto chorob. Zvýšenou pozornost vyžaduje léčení hlasových profesionálů a malých dětí.
