Vaccination coverage of vaccine preventable infections in the adult population is generally very low. Main effort should be to increase
vaccination coverage among people with higher risk of infectious diseases and among people with chronic diseases, who are in higher
risk of severe clinical course of infection and also in risk of decompensation of basic chronic disease. Because of the wider use of vaccination
adult immunization schedule was created. It should be a simple tool for basic knowledge of whom and against what diseases is
recommended to vaccinate.
