News in obesity - obese patient in the GP surgery

The article defines the basic terms in obezitology, clearly describes the contemporary treatment of obesity from the regime therapy, via

pharmacotherapy to the bariatric surgery. States as well the questionable methods and procedures. Touches the endocrine function of

adipose tissue and suggests ways in which obesity treatment could proceed in the future.
