Leg ulcers and chronic pain

The multifactorial aetiology of leg ulcers requires comprehensive treatment. According to the current guidelines, the treatment should

primarily include causal therapy and effective pharmacoanalgesia because of the chronic painful condition the course of which is often

aggravated by acute pain during dressing changes or interventions.
